Brautović Marija Marusja - painter

Born in Cavtat where as a child she encountered the skills of painting. After moving to Dubrovnik she attended painting courses with Kosta Strajnić and Milovan Stanić. Since 1967 she has been exhibiting her art work in Dubrovnik, Cavtat, Zagreb, Pula, Mostar and many other cities. > more

The Cavtat"s majorettes, - KUD "Vlaho Bukovac“

Founded in 1973, they are the oldest majorettes in Croatia and comprise of about 100 girls and maidens between the ages of 7-18. They are a part of cultural artistic association "Vlaho Bukovac“ and a member of the Croatian alliance of the majorettes, which functions under rules of the European majorette"s association – NBTA-Europe. > more

Dukić Tea - piano

Born on 7 August, 1990, in Zagreb, Croatia. At a very young age she started to show interest for music, particularly the piano. At the age of eight she started her musical education at Pavao Markovac Music School under R. Zlatarić and Đ. Tikvica. She is currently a fourth year student at Zlatko Baloković Secondary Music School. > more

Dubrovnik Guitar Trio

Having been enchanted by playing music together, Ante Skaramuca, Frano Matusic and Maroje Brcic, the guitar teachers at the Music School of Dubrovnik formed the Dubrovnik Guitar Trio towards the end of 1992. Soon after discovering the ensemble, they began giving concerts on the stages in Croatia and abroad. > more

Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra

The Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1925 as the Dubrovnik Philharmonic Orchestra, later named the Dubrovnik City Orchestra and then – till 1992 – the Dubrovnik Festival Orchestra. Its musicians are academic professionals educated mainly at the Zagreb Academy of Music with some of them also studying in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris. > more

Franetović Kušelj Đive - flute

Born in Dubrovnik, in 1979, her music education began in the Luka Sorkočević Music School with prof. J.Kakarigi. Upon graduation she attended the Music Academy in Zagreb, studying with prof. M.Novak. She also attended the masterclasses of flutists such as J.Galway, K.Zoller, I.Grafenauer, E.Pahud, E.Amsler. S.Lord, M.Takahashi, H.de Villelle. > more

Gjoni Iliriana - piano

Born in Ulcinj, Montenegro of Albanian origins in 1986. She commenced her musical education at the age of nine in Ulcinj, her native town and won the best student of the year award in 2001. In the same year Iliriana started her private studies and consultations with the eminent pianist and pedagogue from Montenegro, Boris Kraljević. > more

Genc Lana - piano

The pianist Lana Genc is currently a post-graduate piano student at the Zagreb Music Academy, studying under prof. Lovro Pogorelić. She graduated in 2001 at the Zagreb Music Academy in the class of prof. Vladimir Krpan. She was awarded the University of Zagreb Rektor"s prize in 1999/2000. In parallel she studies in Vienna.> more

Hilje Dijana - mezzosoprano

Primadonna of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. Born in Dubrovnik, she graduated and finished postgraduate study at the music academy in Zagreb. She is one of the leading mezzosopranos in Croatia and participates in performances of the whole opera repertoire in the Zagreb Croatian National Theatre Opera – her base opera house. > more

Jasna Jukić - actress

Member of the actor’s corpus of the Dubrovnik theatre "Marin Držić" to which she belongs since 1993 and to where she came from her hometown, Split. She counts many numerous successes in acting in Dubrovnik and in Croatia. Ms Jukić is also a founder of the Association "Arijel". > more

Kahriman Đana - violin

Born on 16th December 1989 in Dubrovnik Kahriman was seven years old when she started studying violin at Luka Sorkočević Art School in the class of prof. Ivanka Kalanj and is now a student at the Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of prof. Leonid Sorokov. At only the age of eight she performed as soloist with Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. > more

Klapa Ragusavecchia

Wishing to homage their native place they go by the name of Klapa Ragusavecchia (group of male singers). Ragusavecchia was established in autumn 1998 when the group of enthusiastic people decided to gain experience in singing. At first they only wanted to sing and every new song was a challenge. > more

Klapa Oštro

Established in 2000 by a few enthusiastic Konavle singers, they have named the Klapa by the most southern place of the Croatian enchaning coastline, called Oštro. Klapa Oštro have collaborated with some very eminent klapa leaders, such as Krešimir Magdić. It features many traditional melodies, in particular those from the Konavle region and not to forget those from Dubrovnik and its surroundings. > more

Kovač Niko - actor

Prēeminent of the Croatian theatre. An outstanding member of the Actor's corpus of the Dubrovnik Theatre "Marin Držić". Mr Kovač has realized a number of very observed roles and is also a winner of many prestigious awards such as "Croatian Prize for acting in 2005", for the role "Ljubovnici" at the theatre Marin Držić under the stage management of Vančo Kljaković. > more

Kursar Toni - horn

Born in Dubrovnik in 1983 Kursar completed high school in the class of Ildous Galioulline at Dubrovnik “Luka Sorkočević” music school in 2002, countinued studying at Zagreb Music Academy with prof. Mateić and prof. Detiček and made diploma by prof. Boštjan Lipovšek in 2006. Participated in home and foreign competitions. > more

Leko Matea - piano

Born in Zagreb in 1986, she started her piano studies at the age of 9 with Dragana Petravić. Matea continues her musical education with Ivanka Kordić with whom she won many awards in Croatia and in abroad. At the age of 17 Matea became a student of the Zagreb Music Academy and presented herself as the best candidate for admission in that year. > more

Letunić Ivo - lijerica

One of the most famous lijerica players in Croatia, a bassist in the band "Kries“ and a member of the Klapa "Oštro“ from Konavle. Even he has experienced the magic sound of lijerica in his early childhood and started to play it before 1998 while participating in one of the Workshops organized by Vido Bagur. > more

Petrović Tihomir

Born in Zagreb on the 25th of July 1951, he studied at the Department of Music Theory at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb, where he graduated in 1976 and received the degree of B. A. in music. Since 1977 he has been lecturing in all subjects concerning music theory at the Music School Vatroslav Lisinski in Zagreb. > more

Previšić Tomislav - piano

Born on 13th of May in 1987 in Dubrovnik, he started attending the music school "Luka Sokorčević“ when he was seven. At first he went to school in Cavtat where he lives. At the very beginning he showed his love and talent for music and the piano. After four years in Cavtat, he continued his schooling in Dubrovnik, where he also attended Music High school. > more

Querimaj (Qerimi) Fatos - clarinette

Comes from a family of very well known Albanian musicians who has played a crucial role in cultivating and propogating the musical art and culture in Albania. Fatos graduated in clarinett and composition at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, Albania in 1982 and presently works as Assistant Professor at Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. > more

Session&Selection

Etno – jazz trio "Session Selection" founded in 1996. They are a mixture of different traditions and worlds and try to interpret all stlyes: from free improvisations to some arrangements of musical heritage of Croatia and from all the world. They use different themes by improvising and explore, yet with a lot of fantasy and freshness.> more

Srzić Zlatan - conductor

Graduted in conducting from the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst under Professor Milan Horvat in Graz, Austria. He graduated in violin from the Zagreb Academy of Music under Professor Milan Barić and then studied with Professor Charles Libov in the USA. Trio Caruso - Darclée is entitled and renders homage to two of most authoritative voices than fine ` 800 and first ` 900: the Italian tenor Enrico Caruso (celebre interpreter of the international repertory of romanticism–"verista“) and the rumanian soprano Hariclea Darclée (the first interpreter of works of Mascagni and Puccini). > more

Antonia Emanuela Maria Palazzo - soprano

Dramatic soprano of coloritura. Graduated in singing and violin at the Conservatory of Music "S.Pietro to Majella" of Naples and later perfecting herself under the guide of the M° Giuseppe Ruisi. Her intense artistic career consists of one"s debut in "Cavaleria Rusticana" (in the role of Santuzza). > more

Aldo Gallone - tenore

Aldo Gallone got his musical education at the Music Conservatory G. Paisiello from Taranto with M° Giacomo Colafelice and proceeds his studies with Luciana Serra, Gianni Raimondi, Maria Luisa Cioni, Gianfranca Ostini and Vanna Camassa. Mr Gallone also attends the Academy “Paolo Grassi”of Martina Franca. > more

Pianist, music - promoter and conductor. He was born in Italy. Gratuated in piano in 1988 in Napoli. He studied perfectionament with Sergio Fiorentino, Georghe Sandor, Peter Rosel, Dan Grigore and at Imola Accademy of Piano. He won a scholarship and graduated at the “Hight Music Perfectionament School” of CEE (Saluzzo - Torino). > more

Vidović Ivana Marija - piano

Born in Dubrovnik into a family of musicians. Music has been a part of Ms Vidovic"s life from a very young age. Her mother is a music teacher at the school "Luka Sorkocevic“ in Dubrovnik where Ivana got her first education and her brother was a hyper talented and versatile musician.
