Programme of the Epidaurus Festival, 2007
This year’s program will include the first edition of
our projects and ideas. Our intentions are to create a mixture of many
different artistic events in order to give visitors and all Cavtat’s
guests the opportunity to experience the tremendous potential and culture
of Cavtat (a magical Mediterranean place) and its people.
Events will comprise of musical (classical and jazz),
theatre and folkloristic performances, traditional and beautiful Neapolitan
songs, exhibition of the local painter’s art, educational events, lectures
and a program called "The young talents". It will also bring to light a national instrument "Lijerica",
which is a symbol of Konavle's rich heritage.
We hope to make the most of promoting some most distinctive
personalities
born in Cavtat, such as Vlaho
Bukovac a
renowned Croatia painter, Tino Pattiera a great tenor in the opera
World, Frano Supilo a politician,
Baltazar Bogisic, etc.
Please come to Cavtat and enjoy its infinite beauties.
